Exercise Rehabilitation

ECP Physiotherapy are leaders in using exercise to help you live your healthiest and most fulfilling life.

An individualised exercise program may be for you if:

  • You are recovering from an injury or surgery
  • You want to improve your performance (for example, increase running speed or distance)
  • You want to improve your technique (for example, be able to squat deeper)
  • Pain, discomfort or an injury is holding you back from doing the activities you love
  • You have had some time away from exercise and are wanting help to ease back into it
  • You don’t like exercise, but know you need to do it for your health and need help with accountability and finding something you enjoy
  • You have health concerns and want to ensure you are doing the best type of exercise
  • You want to feel safe knowing that you are being looked after by a highly qualified physiotherapist that understands your body


We will first conduct a thorough assessment and movement analysis before deciding on an exercise program. You will then receive a full exercise program, including how to do the exercise, and all the information you need to know including repetitions, sets, weight recommendations, frequency. This will vary depending on what equipment you have available to you.

We will set some goals in your initial appointment and gradually progress your program over time until you have reached your goals. You may choose to follow your exercise program on your own, or have supervised physiotherapy sessions until you are feeling more confident.
